Interest is being expressed from all over Norway in the online continuing education courses offered by Time Upper Secondary School for auxiliary nurses and carers in the areas of Cancer Patient Care, Autistic Patient Care, and Child and Mother/Baby Nursing.
The programme is designed in such a way that the training can be combined with full-time employment.

Bergeland vgs announced this spring that it was offering approved courses in Flower Decoration. The course has proved popular, with 65 applicants.

Over 80 people already enrolled on ICT course for teachers. |

This 20-credit course for teachers, which RKK is arranging in collaboration with the teacher training unit at Stavanger University College, would seem to be meeting a need, since we have already registered over 80 applications. Most of the participants work in the upper secondary sector but the course is also attracting teachers from the primary and lower secondary schools.

We can confirm that there is a great deal of interest in the offshore-related courses offered by Stavanger Offshore Tekniske Skole. There are already about 50 people enrolled on the programme " Drilling and Well Technology" scheduled to start in week 34.

New CEDEFOP study group to visit Stavanger 21-24 October 2001 |

RKK is to host a visit from a new CEDEFOP study group 21-24 October. The theme this time is "Online learning and continuing education for small and medium-sized enterprises".
Thr group comprises 12 education specialists from 9 different countries:Romania, Belgium, Poland, Ireland, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
