In collaboration with the Agricultural Department of the Rogaland County Governor's office, RKK through its partner ?ksnevad Upper Secondary School is arranging a course for agricultural trainees 22- 24 November.

Collaboration with Stord Training Centre extends RKK's range of courses.

RKK has entered into collaboration with Stord Training Centre for the distribution of networked courses for the mechanical engineering/offshore branch. Courses will be delivered by Stord Training Centre but will be announced through RKK's course programme database.
The first courses offered are:
- Pipe dimensioning (TBK 5/6,ASME B 31.3)
- STK 201 EWT theory.

Deadline for grant applications for teachers of subsidiary subjects is 14 December .

RKK has once more been commissioned to administer the grant scheme for teachers of subsidiary subjects. There are 19 grants each of NOK 10 000 available.
The official announcement will be sent to all county municipalities in week 39.
The last date for applications has been set at 14 December 2001, and funds will be made available from 1 February 2002.

First 15 doormen in Stavanger gain their licences.

Today, the first 15 doormen in Stavanger to have completed an approved course of training will receive their licences. The course, under the aegis of the Police, Fire Services and RKK, was held at Godalen Upper Secondary School, and ends this evening.

On Saturday 15 September, participants embarking on the 20-credit ICT course for teachers attended the introductory seminar at Stavanger University College teacher training department.
There has been a steady stream of enrolments for this course and the cut-off point was finally set at 120 participants.

More than 300 applicants for Licensed Doorman courses

To date, more than 300 people have enrolled on courses leading to a licensed doorman certificate, with instructors from the Police, Fire Service and Air Ambulance. Courses will be held in Stavanger, Sandnes and Egersund.
