ÁREAS PRINCIPAIS:
ASSISTÊNCIA MÉDICA
Basic and continuing education in Health & Care is the side of our activities that has experienced the greatest growth over the last few years.
Various schools distributed throughout the county offer this type of education. Despite this, our greatest challenge has been to establish permanent availability of courses to meet market needs.
We have solved the problem through the establishment of two study centres: Rygjabø Studiesenter in Stavanger and Haugesund. From the start, these centres of education have used ICT based methods, opening courses to participants all over the country. The centres also run RKK’s tertiary level vocational programme, RKK Fagskole, in Health & Care subjects, with five accredited lines of study:
- Counselling
- Mental Health Care
- Care of the Elderly
- Rehabilitation
- Cancer and PalliativeCare
In Haugesund, Rygjabø Study Centre cooperates with Karmsund Upper Secondary School.
Through Møllehagen Skolesenter we also offer a wide range of courses in special education topics.
