KEY AREAS:
Health & care
Basic and continuing education in Health & Care is one of the activities that has experienced the greatest growth over the last few years.
Various schools distributed throughout the county offer this type of education. Despite this, our greatest challenge has been to establish permanent availability of courses to meet market needs.
Rygjabø Studiesenter in Stavanger are using ICT based learing methods, opening courses to participants all over the country. The centres also run RKK’s tertiary level vocational programme, RKK Fagskole, in Health & Care subjects, with five accredited lines of study:
- Counselling
- Mental Health Care
- Care of the Elderly
- Rehabilitation
- Cancer and PalliativeCare
Through Møllehagen Skolesenter we also offer a wide range of courses in special education topics.
