National Vocational Education Conference in Astana 29th April 2011

On the 29th April 2011 the Ministry of Education and Science in Kazakhstan arranged the "Labour Market and Perspectives on developing Technical and Professional Education" conference in Astana.

The conference was opened by Orynbayev Yerbol Turmakhanovich, Deputy Prime Minister, Republic of Kazakhstan. The Education Minister, Zhumagulov Bakhytzhan Tursynovich presented the academic part of the conference. The opening introductions were followed by speeches from the Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Abdyhalikova Gulshara Naushayevna and the Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Abdibekov Nurmuhamet Kanapiyevich.

The cooperation agreement on vocational training was then signed by several ministries. Awards were then presented to several vocational schools for their outstanding work in vocational education.

The second part of the conference consisted of several workshops on Sanmarbeide, the organisation of Vocational Education and on the "National Qualification System and Expertise and Quantification of Vocational Education.

RKK held a lecture on business cooperation, education and public administration.
