ICT in Nordic Fisheries Education

RKKs Leif Knudsen introduced on November 22, 2010, a presentation of RKKs thinking and practice on the use of ICT and the Internet to facilitate access to learning.

Among the visitors were guests from fisheries education in Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Norway, all participants in the project "West Nordic cooperation on distance education in fisheries and aquaculture" financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers and the North Plus program.

Need for restructure and easier access to expertise was discussed as one of the premises for the network project. The host for the delegation was the principal of the high school Rygjabø, Magnus Mathisen.
