Nationwide educational opportunities in health and social work subjects meet with positive response at local level
27 April 2009
Around this time about fifty participants are embarking on upper secondary level programmes at RKK Rygjabø in child and youth work subjects and health worker subjects. In cooperation with Studiesenteret.no lectures are now being transmitted over the Internet to participants in local areas throughout the country.
These programmes are highly flexible and it is possible to start studying a module every week from now on. Examinations will be held locally in all areas in December 2009. The programmes run continuously and consist of 12-15 sessions where participants get folllow-up via the Internet on video and a dedicated web portal.
We are pleased that these education programmes have met with such a good response from the different local areas around the country. This is proof that there is a clear need for this type of programme, designed to meet the requirements for both academic quality and flexibility for the participants.
