Strategy
RKK’s strategic objectives for the years up to 2015 are as follows:
- RKK shall work to make the vocational schools in Rogaland a preferred provider of adult education and continuing education both to individual customers and to the private and public sectors
- RKK shall maintain a leading position in relation to the development and application of new technology and methods for the distribution of learning
- RKK shall meet the wishes and requirements of the private and public sectors in relation to quality, price and flexibility
- RKK shall deliver competitive solutions to the market in Rogaland, Norway and abroad
- RKK shall contribute to the competence development of teaching staff in the vocational schools in Rogaland
- RKK shall join forces with Norwegian enterprises operating in the international arena
- RKK shall play an active role in network development through participation in local and international networks
- RKK shall actively seek to participate in development programmes initiated by national research and development authorities and the EU
- RKK shall arrange regular strategic planning seminars for school principals and course organisers, and joint seminars for the school sector and the business community
- RKK shall play an active role as partner to Rogaland County Council
